Update and migraine
Hi All,
It has been a while since I posted last, so I thought I'd give you an update
I became anemic last spring and the cause turned out to be a large ovarian cyst and a fibroid in the uterus, so I wound up needing a total hysterectomy. Fortunately, the cyst was benign and they were able to leave one ovary it. However, it has taken a while for everything to settle down. For some reason, my body started reacting differently to some medications. Some of the meds that worked in the past just didn't work the same way. So I ended up doing the trial and error thing. Finally got it straightened out.
The headache is pretty bad right now, but at least the meds are helping.
Anyway, just thought Id say hello
Pain free days,

Hang in there! Total hysterectomy is no fun and the hormonal changes can be life long, thank God you got to keep one of your ovaries!
Right now my go to meds for migraine are Norco and Stadol NS and the abortive Frova. I am thankful that they are down to about 5-6 a month now instead of 20-23.
Looking back, I do not know how I survived or how any of us are surviving this horrific pain.
Prayers and love!
