What a day!!

I can't go in to too many specifics as it's work related, but I was chairing a meeting and got a phone call from my work. I was shocked, I never get phone calls when I'm at meetings out of town. It was a staff member calling me to tell me that a situation had occurred at work and that the police had to be called and they wanted to look at something.

Do to regulations of my profession I told them to tell the police to get search warrant and I would be right there. Ended that meeting and drove like crazy 30 miles back to work. Yup, county and city officers waiting for me. They tried to convince me that it wasn't necessary for them to get a search warrant, and I nicely, but firmly told them, oh yes it was. So we all chit chatted for a couple hours waiting for the warrant.

Then the Feds called and said don't worry, they didn't need to look at it, based on what had transpired that necessitated the call to the police in first place, they were issuing a Federal arrest warrant.

Believe me folks, this is NOT run of the mill stuff in my work.

So, I wasted time in town for a hour and half and then went to a Board meeting..... yeah, the one that is being held NEXT week.

That's how my day went...how as yours?

Oh dear! Guess they didn't know who they were dealing with huh?

Seriously - whatever happened- is the thing at work straightened out yet? was it something very bad?
