Ugh... Nausea
Strange (for me) prodome? I am sooooo nauseated. My head doesn't hurt yet but I feel dragged out and nauseous to the point where my throat feels funny.
Anyone else get a prodome like this? I hesitate to call it an aura as it is mostly my energy levels and tummy that are affected. I'd really rather be coming down with the flu than getting set up for another migraine. I've had three in the last week already.

Re: Ugh... Nausea
Do you often feel like that before your head hurts, Alli?
It could be your prodrome, yes.
People have all sorts of prodormal symptoms that are individual to them, only.
I, for one, can get hiccups before M hits.
If this is out of turn, I would think of maybe a stomach flu or just flu, too, as it's the good season for.
You still may experience sort of "silent migraine" for a while, though, or -again- as a prodrome.
Lolol I know I've explained it all so simply!

Re: Ugh... Nausea
No... this is a new one. I get achy, bitchy, my neck hurts, etc as a prodome but this is a new one. Woke up at 3am with a migraine
My head is killing me and it's setting off the TN too. My whole face hurts and I'm blinking constantly because my eyes are burning from the TN. I'm so shaky that I can hardly hold my tea mug. All in all a truly crappy day.
Being the fricking loyal person that I am... I'm at work. If my boss (the one who yelled at me) says one wrong word today I'm going to lose it. The other two told me to go home if I don't start feeling better. Thank god I have tomorrow off.

Re: Ugh... Nausea
Awww I am so sorry Alli, you do sound miserable.
I think it's more than M tough, I think you are coming down with something, though.
I just battle this allergy, cold and sinus infection to boot for the past two weeks.
The initial symptoms were eerily similar to yours- a heck of a HA, tremors, chills, even the burning eyes
and general poor well-being.
No fever though, that's why I could figure out for quite a time what's wrong with me until the tell-tale ekhm..
mucus started coming up in the cough.
If your "whole face hurts", with a killer HA to boot, I am banking on sinus infection.
Why don't you go to the dr, try an antibiotic? Biaxin used to work well for me.
It also took care of those body aches, too!
Hope it'll pass soon. HUGS !!

Re: Ugh... Nausea
Yes, I often have nausea first. I have pretty good success with zofran.
Lord I wish they would legalize marijuana in my state. It's tough when I throw up the zofran. I know it comes in a meltaway, but my insurance co refuses to pay for it.

Re: Ugh... Nausea
HI Risa,
The whole face hurting is from Trigeminal Neuralgia. I thought I had chronic sinus infections for years before I was properly diagnosed. Unfortunately, the Trigeminal Nerve is the one that hurts really bad above your eye with a migraine attack and for me, it triggers the whole nerve on both sides of my face on all three branches. The real bummer is that a TN attack will trigger a migraine and a migraine will trigger a TN attack. It sucks.
I wish it was something as easy as a sinus infection.

Re: Ugh... Nausea
Oh, I see, Alli.
That sure is no fun, I am so sorry for the amount of various pains and aches you are often in, Alli.
Wish I could do something about that..
