Yep, I've been around.
Head is steady, except for a sinus infection that seems to have exploded over night. As long as I take all the other meds for my heart, blood pressure, and everything else, the migraines have been steadily kept in a cage.
Hope all is well.

Re: Hello everyone......
I thought so! Sorry about your sinus infection. I used to get a lot of them and it made my head very grumpy. How are the rest of your health issues doing?

Re: Hello everyone......
hi 30years...
the headache has blown up to a full blown migraine. my doc called in a 2 round script of z-pack. just driving today was a bit miserable.
health stuff has been tough with some ups and downs. before this brainache hit today, the migraines have been in check. got a pacemaker late last year, had my shoulder repaired this winter...lots of things going on.
still fighting the fight.

Too bad, I was hoping things were going well with you. Hope the antibiotics help you. The advantage of being on antibiotics for the last 4 years is few infections can set in! I got a lot of sinus infections before Lyme was discovered.

Hi M.
Good to see you here. How's your shoulder doing? Mine took several months to feel anywhere near normal but is good now. Sorry about the brain ache. Mine aches too.

Re: Hello everyone......
hey alli,
shoulder surgery went extremely well. i either got luck or had an awesome surgeon. i think a little bit of both. he had to do a lot of work. it was by far the most painful procedure i've ever had. after a couple weeks, pain went to to a minimal level.
i'm on my 6th or 7th week of PT which isn't bad. about 2 weeks ago, we started resistance training which makes things a little bit more sore. right now, my range of motion is at 95% of where it should be. strength though is another thing.
i was really extra careful following the docs orders and doing the stretches and exercises religiously. i want my shoulder back, lol.
thanks, hope you are doing well!

Re: Hello everyone......
I hear ya.... I've had lots of surgeries and the shoulder was horrible. Three months of PT gave me almost all my previous range of motion. The strength training took a bit longer. Now that I'm working out religiously it is great. Still get aches when the weather turns but that happens with any joint that gets injured.
I'm glad it went well and you had a good surgeon. My surgeon's name was Dr. Knight and I called him my knight in shining armor after he did my shoulder. It was dislocating constantly, which HURT way too much, and when I went in it was a mess. He made it all better. Thank god for good surgeons!
