Migraine history...

Post  Cluelesskitty on Fri 27 May 2011, 1:29 am

As I was looking for bits about migraine, I came upon Migraine Timeline on Google:
http://www.google.ca/#hl=en&tbs=tl:1&q=migraine+history&oq=migraine+history&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=s&gs_upl=-1306483937714l-1306483937714l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=6ef50d66b38089c9&biw=1152&bih=677

-it's a series of separate little threads about migraine, quite interesting. some after opening need to be scrolled down
to get the right passage, though.

Very interesting... I thought the link about retinal problems in people who have migraines in mid life was particularly interesting. Over the last ten years or so I have developed macular degeneration and at times can have 2-3 bleeds in my eyes a day. The more migraines I have, the more bleeds. When the migraines are in a low phase, I don't have as many bleeds. It's a bit disconcerting, but the bleeds resolve usually within 5 minutes. Not good for long term prognosis. So far the scarring is minimal so I can still see fine but I really worry about it as I get older.
