At his press conference today there was something in the cadence of his speech when he was admitting being wrong and then said BUT, and in the back of my mind I finished his sentence with "I did NOT have sex with that woman".

How many times do the Garys, the Bills, the Johns and the Arnolds have to be caught for something in politicians egotistical heads to click on and tell them to think with the right head!

Nowadays, they anyway have DNA testing which can confirm or exclude paternity beyond any doubts,
so denial is even further moot point.

Really, this dishonest behaviour is flat out ridiculous...

If they weren't' such a spineless liars, I would even excuse them for they are but a simple human beings after all,
like everybody else, money or no money, power or no power,
who knows what their private lives look like, their marriages.

Everybody was in such uproar at the news of Arnold having a child with another woman, but do we know
what his relationship with Maria really was at the time?
Maybe not as rosey as they make it to be for all to see in front of camera,
as for the babysitter I wouldn't put it past her to hope to be well compensated for "cheering" Arnold up
if and when she saw the marriage was going down the drain.. you guys know life, don't you.


But one thing is inexcusable, if there is an iron proof, beyond any doubts whatsoever, instead to fall to their knees
as they should have- they still can't find their proper place.

I disagree on one thing Risa...no we don't know the details of the Schwarzenegger marriage, but it was obviously good enough that Maria was carrying a baby at the same time the mistress was. So, I don't think the excuse " she doesn't understand me, we sleep in separate beds" works.

But, as you say, and I agree, folks have affairs all the time. Various reasons, who knows. But most of those folks are NOT holding themselves up in public venues as paragons of virtue. These politicians do. Gary Hary challenged the reporters to follow him, they wouldn't find anything...riiiiiigghht.

At least the TV evangelists fall on their swords and cry and squall begging for forgiveness. The politicians deny it until they are completely backed in to a corner holding a dirty blue dress.
