Doing something nice for hubby....Florida in July. UGH

I HATE hot weather. Hubby loves it, the hotter the better. He only likes to leave the house for 3-4 days at the most. And since he's being kind enough to let me take of for Europe with a friend for two weeks it only seemed fair to give hubby a vacation he'll enjoy.

On the plus side....off season so rates are down. And I only have to go for three days.

On the other hand I think I will die from heat exhaustion. For real.

Compromise?
choose a well A/C place with a pool, and let your Stud sit by the pool while you will cool yourself down
in the water, ogling from there the muscular beauties. I mean, your Stud!

I hope it won't be that bad... surely the evenings will be cooler?

Well, the hotel room door opens out on to the beach so I can lay in bed with the curtains open and watch my stud muffin. as a surprise for a and extra $60 instead of renting a chevy cavalier I rented him a Ford Mustang Convertible. Granted, it will be to hot, but we've never tooled around in a convertible.

There are some great restaurants in Florida.

We're going to be between Miami and Ft. lauderdale. Any good restaurants you know in that area, Lentils? Or anyone else? We love, love, love seafood and are planning one fancy scmancy dinner out. There's a little kitchenettes in the room and a grocery store near by so we'll make some of it up with bologna sandwiche lunches and a cocoa Krispies dinners.

I haven't been to Florida in many years, so it's just what I've seen on the travel and food channels. When I wrote that I was thinking of all the Cuban restaurants in Miami.
