What are you secret rewards?
We all have our guilty pleasures...my most embarrassing is tabloid magazines. Yes, National Enquirer genre. I consider it junk food for the brain and love soaking in the tub at the end of the work week and losing my mind to celebrity trash.
I brought this up on Rondas several years ago and someone asked why I feel guilty about it. Well, I'm supporting an invasive industry, and by the time you pick up 5-6 of those magazines a week, it's not cheap!
My newer guilty pleasures....Hersheys Bliss white chocolate. OMG, can not get enough.
Medical Blogs...Dr. Grumpy, Nurse K, tales from the Front Desk. Thank you so much, Annas Mom, for getting me hooked on these. I start reading and next thing a couple hours have gone by ( found any new ones Cheryl? ). Pharmacist blogs will do in a pinch.
Web sites that feature BAD tattoos. Like looking at a train wreck. I mean really? It's going on your body permanently and you don't check the spelling? OIY!
So what are your (or in bad tattoo land.... you're) guilty pleasures?

Soap Operas. I am so sad that they soon will not be on TV anymore. I have been watching AMC since it started (off and on). Also, shows on TLC and Discovery Health. Yes, I do watch too much TV on migraine days!

Really? how come? I have no clue... (big surprise here, eh? ;] )
also, butbutbut... this is staple of daytime TV! isn't it like losing a bug chunk of money making machine?
My secret reward - I am ashamed to say - is gossip!
I love to hear every who, what, where, when, whom, why, how - everything!
lolol and if I hear only a part of a gossip or a secret, I am ready to climb walls until I find out more! lololol
However, I know how to keep my mouth shut so what's confided in me, stays with me!

ABC says they are not making enough money. They are planning more talk shows-yuk! The shows will be moved to the web, but I wonder how many of the stars will stick around....

Really? talk shows? I am personally sick and tired of talk shows.
As much as I loved Oprah as any next person, toward the retirement of her show I though she was less and less interesting.
The giveaways, the celebrity days, the makeovers- it was fine in the beginning, great once or twice,
but to make it a weekly feature
while the rest of the world was suffering was overkill, if you ask me.
And recently I decided I can't stand looking at Chris Hyndman and Steven Sabados gushing over perfect cupcakes
like it was seventh wonder of the world.
Or rushing to and fro tripping over themselves to match swatches of fabrics, the wall and the picture frame.
This is insanity!
People can hardly afford proper food anymore. WHO has money and time for this anymore?

Hershey's Cookies and Cream bars
White chocolate with crushed oreos. I freeze them and just nibble a little at a time. It makes life worth living even at the most painful times.
I am also addicted to homemade Rice Crispy treats. I don't like the cereal by itself and I don't like marshmallows. But I find myself making Crispy treats alot. I can eat that even when I am nauseated.

I watch UFC. If you don't know what this is, it is cage fighting. I LOVE it. It is Raw agression, nothing fake at all. The added bonus is that these men are wearing next to nothing in some cases and are in great shape, but not hugely roided up. another bonus is that my husband is also into it, for his own reasons that don't include half naked men, and so we can watch it together!
