Sorry I've been MIA lately

Hey everyone, so wonderful to be able to check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing. You are all so very important to me. I'm sorry that I have not been my usual chatty self lately. Most of you know that we have been cursed with bad health as of late, as well as school and now....I start a new job on Friday! I was very lucky to win a bursary large enough to cover my entire year of school fees! Now, let's hope my head goes along with my plans.

Whoohooo...managed the first full day and mastered the label maker!

I showed up all dressed in my usual work clothes, a pretty dress. I parked and tried to pull my things out of the car to bring up the two floors to my new office. (windowed corner office whooo hoo) I have to park at the hospital across the street, as the building I'm in now has very limited parking. So I took along a dolly to lug my boxes up. OK...so a dolly in a sports car wasn't the greatest idea but lugging boxes in a dress isn't the greatest either.

So I packed up the dolly only to realize that I was surrounded by large raised curbs. I'm not a wimp, so I figure a little bump in the road wouldn't stop me and my dolly....lol Well, I ended up tipping and somehow managed to have my good leg look like it was attacked by a large bear. I have eight slices on my leg from the top of my knee to my ankle with three really large ones 4 to 6 inches long.

So I had to go up and meet my new co-workers with blood gushing out of my leg all over the place. Too funny!
Luckily the people mentoring me today were not squeamish and didn't seem to mind at all.

Did I mention I mastered the label maker????? lol
