My least favorite question...

Why do you have a headache?

I hate this question. Most of the time I have no idea why. If I did, I could avoid getting them.
It just puts me on the defensive, having to justify why I hurt, at a time when I really don't feel up
to trying to explain it. Not that I can explain it anyway.

Mine is..On a scale from 1-10..what's you number? Really a 10..no a ten is if you had been shot...Grrr.

my answer to why I have a headache is that my neurons are playing pinball in my brain.

I have no idea. I accepted what the doctors told me- I have primary migraine.

Seriously? People actually ask other people WHY they have headaches?

Yes. My husband asks this and seriously expects an answer. I know he is frustrated too, but really it doesn't help. Sorry, needed to vent a bit.

I'm in the kind of mood that a question like that from my "loved one" would result in a thump to the head!!!!!

Yes, if I was myself Id be able to argue the question or at least make a snappy retort. But with the migraine, I don't have enough wits about me for that. Perhaps I'll just go with "because God dropped a bowling ball on my head" from now on...
