Fun Sonogram pics

I'm going to be a grandma in March and it has taken over my world. My grandson had more presents under the tree than any one else and I am feverishly sewing and working on the nursery.

Today I had a crappy day at work....everyone wanted to be the boss )except me). So I called my son to vent. He didn't have a lot of time to talk but he told me that they had had 4D sonogram pictures taken of baby. (Don't know his name yet, I'll call him Ed). It was a gift I had given them.

Son said the 4D pics was one of the best presents and well worth the money.  They have wallet size pics, a couple 4x5, and a 5x7 as well as a DVD!!  He said that Ed has mine, my dads, and my sons nose....boo...(not the most attractive nose) and the technician kept saying he was "healthy not scrawny", so I'm guessing he has our barrel chest and broad shoulders too.  Ed was very active...everything was going in to his mouth, sucking on his fingers, his feet, for awhile he was chomping on the umbilical cord, LOL  He's taking after his daddy on that one too.  

anyway, as you can imagine it cheered me up lickity split. Need to get sewing again for my bundle of joy!

It's more "crafting". Making stuffed animals, wall hangings, mobile etc.

We have swiped it almost exactly. I bought the same crib, made the same wall hangings, and stuffed animals. I am trying to find the chair (my son is a big guy) but am unwilling to pay a ton of money so I'm haunting the second hand shops and will slip cover it. And yes, we used the same wall decals. They live in a mid-century modern house so it matches well.

Ed is due in late March. I cancelled going to an out of state conference in mid march "just in case". I just found out who one of the speakers at the conference is going to be...Betty White!!!

My luck....oh well, other than her portion the whole time I was gone I would be worried about missing my first grandbaby being born.

Are the sonogram pictures posted online? I'd love to see them.

I have never noticed anything out of the ordinary about your nose. I'm sure it's a perfectly fine nose and will serve Ed well in his long and happy life!

I'm so happy for you that you got a special treat! I am glad that Ed is healthy and doing well. My parents postponed a trip in March because my Mongolian sister is due on March 14. She gave my parents their first grandchild (her son, Jake), and she is thinking of naming her daughter Julianne Alexis, the middle name being named after my dad's middle name of Alexander! My mom was glad she chose that name to use and not his first name, Gerald, as the only real choice is Geraldine, and we think Alexis is much prettier!
