Hunger Games... Empty Hunger Games...

I had no idea there is so much hullabaloo about Hunger Games - first the book (apparently a trilogy), now the movie!

In our local TV news they showed pple camping outside the theaters waiting to get into for the premiere!
That certainly piqued my attention, lol.
The trailer does look quite promising.

Gotta get the books first, then see the movie :]

I have read the first two books, and am starting the third. Not as good as Twilight series for me, but interesting. My older daughter, Meagan, saw the movie and said it was really good. I will go once the craziness is over!

My cousin-in-law really liked the movie. She did read the series beforehand. Also, said that it was pretty true to the books. I love you

I just finished the first book, and started the second. We plan to see the movie this weekend. Having fun reading the series.

I've read all three books (I love my Kindle), but I'm not great about getting to the movie theater. I usually end up next to someone wearing way too much perfume and regretting it.

I don't know if you all read Dr. Grumpy, but this posted recently and made me laugh. http://drgrumpyinthehouse.blogspot.com/2012/03/sunday-afternoon.html

You know she's not much of a migrainer in truth if this is acceptable to her.

Just put down the first book. I'm planning to buy the next two for my recovery time after my surgery. Smile

I enjoyed it. Not the best book I've ever read but I found the first half gripping. It lost me a bit as the games went on, probably due to editting and the need to make it all fit into the size book it is.

Happy reading!

I broke down and bought the books on my e-reader. I'm a page into book two and not sure it will be as good...lol...though one would say it's a bit early to judge. lol

I read all three books in almost record time and loved them. I also went to the 1st movie. The theater was less that desirable conditions, it was near full, but I pre-medicated, so I made it through. I loved it all, but was so glad I read the books first.
