Please stop the rain...
It's been raining for 2 weeks on and off.
Half Northern Italy is flooded and the other half - where I live - it's close to it, too....
We've lived an awful flood in 2000. Many families lost everything and many companies had to shut down for an entire week as offices and factories were dangerously threteaned by water and mud. I just don't feel like living that hell again...

Has the rain stopped yet? I've never experienced flooding. We did have a small creek overflow it's bank and what amazed me was how fast the water was churning. I was afraid my liitle cocker spaniel was going to get swept away.
It made me understand how at night it would be deceiving to think you could cross the road only to get swept away in your car.

Re: Please stop the rain...
I know what you mean about rain...we have two seasons here, summer and rain. And in the summer, it often rains.
The only good thing is that most of the place has been built to endure all that rain, so major flooding is not very common here.
What a horrible thing to deal with. I hope it lets up soon for you.
