Bad one- not sure what to do

Hi All,

The headache is really bad right now. It started to get bad on Sunday after we had been to a loud restaurant the night before. (Note to self- avoid the Raw Bar when the auburn-Alabama and the florida state-florida games are being played.) The oyseter were good though.

Anyway, it really reared its ugly head today. Nothing I have seems to make a dent in the pain- ultram, t3, aleve and klonopin are helping some, but not enough. I am pretty sure I will wind up either doing a steroid course or asking for an IV soon. I just hate this. I hate the fact that not much is helping, and there is nothing to do but rest. I am frustrated scared and tired and I don't know what to do right now. any advice appreciated.

I have to think there is something going on in the atmosphere. The migraine monster that hit meon Tuesday came back Wednesday afternoon horribly. I couldn't take another Relpax because I am dealing with chest pain from the last one. I did my Stadol NS which helped but leaves me incapacitated completely. As soon as that wore off the monster came back.

This morning I am still suffering. Spoke with my Neuro's nurse last night, hopefully they can prescribe something that will knock this thing back.

I don't have any new advice for you....................but!

Since taking the triptans, has this onset of chest pain been new? And since when?

All of this information can be pieced into a certain puzzle--if syncope is still part of the concern. Your cardilogist should know of this.
