A few of you know that I work fulltime in a super busy profession. A few of you also know that I am also working on another degree. Last semester I worked 50-60 hours a week and did two three credit courses.. It was hell.

I promised my partner not to take two coursees this semester, and even kinda said I would take a break, but I went and registered for the course for this semester just in case I was going to do it. Well, I haave the stupid 212 dollar books and my first class starts this week.

So now I will need to do a full day of work, then head over to the univesriity, do my labs and hoemwork then sit through what I can only assume is a boring and long 2 1\2 hours course. The problem, aside form my crazy long day, is that I will need to take meds at some point in the night. The class goes to 9:30 at night and I need to take my sleep meds at 8. It is going to be an interesting three months.

The good news is I'll be all full of new info on sports nutrition. Smile

The other good news is that I only have three courses left and I'm done!!!!

I just thiink sometimes that I can'tt do it and I often want to just drop it. I need some encouragement.

Please help my friends, I love your supports and value them so much.

I also worked full time and did a graduate degree at the same time, so I know how you feel. Although I did not have migraines back then. In the end you will be really happy you did it if it gets you where you want. I think taking just one class rather than two is a sensible thing to do given the headaches. You'll be a little less crazy and will get to the end soon enough.

Hang in there!!

We all push hard to do what we want to do...........I understand. My husband gets upset with me when he knows how much I am struggling yet I still want to keep moving forward. He also understands and after so many years of watching me do this he knows that it is the only way for me to live. Only you can decide what you should do my friend. I try to live my life with as few regrets as possible - would you regret it if you did not take the course? Please remember also to be kind to yourself and not beat yourself up for the days that you just need to withdraw and regroup. L

Please hang in there if you can!!! Just 3 more courses after this one? Wow!!!

I was in Graduate School, actually Seminary working on my Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling and had to leave after 1 year in due to migraines. I was taking two courses at a time as well. I wish so bably that I could go back and finish, but the "Monster" is too ugly for me still.

I hate this diesease and how it derails us from having a life!

If you can manage, stick with it. There is nothing worse than student loans with nothing to show for it Sad

Thanks everyone. I'll be counting down the weeks and hoping the prof has a low expectation for attendance.

If he/she is concerned about attendance explain your situation and that you will do your best to make up for any lectures you miss. Most professors can be pretty understanding if they realize its not just lack of interest.

Hmmmmm.....prof is super strict about attendance. Darn. There are make-up assignments but you can only do three. Oh well....all I can do is try. Smile
