Move over Chevy Chase, I am a National Lampoon Vacation movie!!

Oh what a special morning I had this am.  I had that uplifting spiritual moment of total relief.  Even though the pain came back to a lesser extent.

So today as I'm running errands with my dad, in my new car.... Loving most of the car. It rides a heck of a lot smoother than my Jeep.  But that's beside this point.  We went to HEB to get my mother some ice cream. She had a bad tooth pulled today and desperately needed comfort food.  (I know that feeling well!!)

We put the few bags we had in the trunk and went home.  I popped the trunk and dad grabbed most of the bags.  I leaned in to grab the last bag AND...

BOOM, the trunk crashed down on my unsuspecting head.  It hurt like a mother bear.  And I was so surprised I kind of fell into the trunk.  I'm so glad my dad doesn't know how to video things on his phone.  I'm sure I looked really special with my butt and legs hanging out of the trunk of my car.  

As soon as he was able to control his laughter, he gallantly helped me out of my trunk.  And asked if my head was ok.  I have a bump line in the center of my stupid head which is thankfully concealed my hair.  It hurts  

I know God has a sense of humor and I'm ok with that.  He did me a big favor this morning and this afternoon I almost ended up in my trunk.  I can't decide if I should be amused or upset.  So far amused is in the lead.  Weird stuff happens to me a lot.  After a while, you just learn to appreciate the humor.
