update
Hi everyone
First I would say a Full Migraine Decompression and excision is the way to go. Today my neck feels pretty darn good and that incision is healing well. My eyes are still swollen and ache a bit, but that's normal, it gets less each day. There is one long incision site down the right side from the back of my ear towards my neck, that punk got excised! All the other incisions I barely feel at all.
I have full range of motion in my neck. Getting the right pillow makes a huge difference. I had my husband go out after 3 nights of neck misery and get me a medium density feather pillow which I placed on top of the one in our studio apt. I sleep like a rock, no pain at night and only took pain med just before bed.
The other big thing, get muscle relaxers, it makes a huge difference in comfort. This morning I haven't had anything but 2 cups of coffee Is this how real people feel???????? Like really good! Today I get to wash my hair!!!!! So glad, just not natural to bathe but leave a dirty head
Also, it appears that the "monster" has found a new address because he's not living here anymore He used to show up mostly on the right side, where my surgeon did the most work. That area, its hard to describe, but feels "empty" or vacated now My husband kiddingly said that half of my brain was removed! hahah!
I'll post more pictures today to the link. Were you guys able to get to that okay?

Re: surgery done
I'm so happy to read your reply!!!!!! I really can't wait to keep reading your updates. The Facebook link says the content is not available. I was so excited to report on your surgery that I read it aloud to my partner....which I never do as I keep TFMU pretty quiet in my "real" world.
Please have your husband keep a very close eye on the incision sites to be on you of any possible infections.
Can't wait for more good news!!!!
