6 weeks Tuesday Surgical update

Today I am 4 weeks post-op from Migraine Nerve Decompression/Excision surgery. Some good and great things to mention.
#1. The "monster" is gone!
#2. I was released from pain management today and never have to go back!
#3. About 70% of the swelling is down in my eyes and forehead (translation, I can keep my eyes open almost all day now)
#4. My neck is almost strong enough to hold my head up all day (not quite there yet).
#5. The pain management doctor sent one of his patients to Boston for this surgery!!! Whoo Yah!! Word is getting out about this procedure! (He said she is recovering as well as I have, she's about 3 weeks post-op.)
# 6. Many people who have family members or friends with debilitating migraines have been in touch with me, giving me a chance to minister God's love and point them to medical help.
#7 GOD IS AWESOME - ALL THE TIME!!!!!!

Tuesday will be 6 weeks since surgery. Swelling is going down more everyday around forehead and eyes and that achy feeling is losing its grip too. The monster is gone. I do notice more "surgical" pain now that the numbness is wearing off, small price to pay. Profile picture taken this morning before church.
