7 months since Migraine Nerve Decompression surgery

Post  7777Trinity on Wed 31 Dec 2014, 10:26 am

Hi Everyone:
Just wanted to give you all an update. Yesterday was 7 months since I had the Migraine Nerve Decompression surgery at Mass General Hospital. So far I have had less than 1 migraine a month. Prior to surgery it was 20-23 days of migraine each month. So it looks like I have had a 99.9% reduction in migraine frequency.

My surgeon is W.G. Jay Austen, Jr. in Boston, Mass. He is the best in the country, the only other one would be Dr. Branch in New England. I am on a Migraine Nerve board on FB and have watched with horror the failures of several other surgeons, both Peripheral and Plastic surgeons trying to perform this procedure. Personally, the two surgeon's I've mentioned are the only two I can recommend with confidence. I travelled from Kentucky to Boston, it was worth it.

If any of you can have this surgery, it will change your life entirely.
