Have you tried supplements or a medical proceedure that has worked for you?

How about one that hasn't?

One thing I use, is a weather forcast predicter called mediclim.com. This service is free and sends you an email to warn you when weather conditions will affect your head.

Accupuncture.
I'm doing it weekly for the 3rd time in my life and for the 3rd time it's doing a huge difference with my migraine.

I wish it worked for me. It just made me feel strange. Maybe I need a different acupuncturist?

The supplement that helps me most is Coenzyme Q10, 300mg softgel, once a day. Magensium and B2 help some, but not as much as the CoQ10.

Flaxseed oil and an algae derived form of DHA as omega-3 supplements have really reduced my hemiplegic symptoms dramatically.

The only non medical treatment I found to work was not in something I injested, but in regular sleep patterns and things like fresh air and regular gentle exersize like daily walks and stretching. Basically being mindful my body's needs and gentle in the answers.

Of all the suppliments I've tried over the years, I've only stayed with magnesium. I haven't found anything that made enough of a difference for me to swear by it.

Thanks for posting this site.

The last couple weeks I've been receiving notices almost every other day. No wonder my migraines are so frequent and my body is so painful. pale

I am taking natural progesterone, magnesium, vitamin D, and omega-3s. It is working so much better than any of the meds I tried. I went from 80% headache days to 2-3 per month. And very few really bad ones now. I consider it was a major life saver for me.

I see my specialist on Thursday for my other issues. If it's not cancer then I may have the option of treating it first with progesterone. I was looking at my available options and at this point I think I will try the natural progesterone. Wouldn't that be awesome if it actually helped my head at the same time?

I already have the brand picked out and know where to buy it....now all I need is to wait out the appointment to see if it's a route I'll be able to go. Smile
