Nelly the Bulldog

Hello, dear friends...

My new name is: Nelly, the name of my English bulldog. I was 'cupatea' on at the last site, and I'm also nicknamed 'T' or 'Mama T' by my friends....(slightly ironic as I don't have kids...yet).

I was on the last site for about 10 years with maybe a year gap when I went traveling.

I've had migraines since the age of 11. They became chronic in my late 20's, and became really disabling about 4 years ago. I've had to give up work for now.
I'm struggling....lost my great Pain Dr as he left the hospital and was transferred to a new one who is really difficult and undertreating my pain.
I used to be on a cocktail of a low dose of narcotics with a breakthrough med that worked for me. This current doc doesn't believe in prescribing my narcotics (despite my long history with the pain clinic and a great letter written on my behalf from my old dr to my current one).

So, times are rough and tough now. Yet I have my hubby of 5 years by my side, and my 3 beautiful and hilarious 4-legged companions: Kaz, Buffy and Nelly.
