Re: Finally, SPRING is here!...
Good for the spirit, bad for the head! We are having whiplash weather. 20-30 degree changes frequently.

Re: Finally, SPRING is here!...
Spring may have sprung, but the grass hasn't riz. Not in Calgary anyways!!
But I'm so happy winter is finally over (officially) even though snow is forecast on and off for the next few days.
I bet the daffs. and tulips are already up in BC, are they Risa?

Things started to bloom here Ruth, yes, in my garden the crocuses went up very nicely
and since we had last two days relatively dry they are up and at attention like a purple little soldiers, lolol,
I have them in light and dark purple colors, the yellow ones disappeared somewhere, though.
Also the Forsythia started sparsely blooming, and the Christmas Rose, and Siberian Iris
The night temps are still at or even almost below zero, so - in the end it's still cold, yikes

whiplash is correct. temp was almost 80 today in March!
i turned on the central air. too hot--my body needs a bit of time to adjust.
not liking weather that gets hot this fast.

yeah, me neither Marc - not only it's out of synch in general when weather gets weird out of season like that,
but thinking in terms of a gardener it's even worse.
You get a premature growth that is always in danger of being exposed to severe frost damage,
and that mean not only poor plant bloom and disease,
but also poor farm crops and thus prices climbing up high :[
BUT- the good news is, as long as warm weather lasts - IT IS NICE
