Checking in
I did a check in a few days ago but for some reason it didn't post. My head is bad, my stress is beyond high and thinsg are not going well. I promise I'll be back as soon as I have more energy left at the end of the day. As is, I am good for nothing after a full day of work.
PS...no cancer update yet

Re: Checking in
Hey all, thought I'd do a quick update. Today was my botox/ nerve block day. This was the most painful batch ever. He says he has never seen me so tense before. He knows my work has been so stressful and knows about my other life events. He gave me a whack of meds and I'm even giving some triptans a go again....I'm that desperate.
My wife has been through a battery of testing again and we are waiting on the results. We have our fingers crossed that this is a false alarm...wouldn't that be wonderful????
Things are very slowly getting a bit better. I have a job interview in two weeks as well!!!!! That is really big news, as jobs are very hard to come by these days.
I really hope this finds everyone well. I look forward to finally finding time to catch up.

Re: Checking in
Well...I guess I really do have very crappy luck. I'm out with a kidney infection now. I am supposed to work the rest of the week then have a week vacation, and I can't go from sick time into a vacation (not allowed). I went in today after seeing the doctor and worked out a plan with my boss. I'll "work" tomorrow and then take Thursday and Friday as vacation...attached to my week off. Let's hope eleven days off will help.

Re: Checking in
Oh gosh, Milo...
crappy luck indeed. well on antibiotic you should be back on track in no time.
I had bacterial kidney infection in the past, it started with bladder infection,
and the a-b took care of it very fast.
The trick is, get the right antibiotic from the start. I don't remember what I was given but something stronger
than the usual sulfa-something given in these instances.
So, yeah I think 11 days should be quite enough. Fingers crossed, anyway
Good luck, kiddo.
