Re: any problems with propofol?
I have no idea what was ever used for anesthesia when I have it done
but look what I've found:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10759925
looks like nothing to worry about...

Hey, Jewishmother,
so, have you had your 'thing' done yet, and how was the propofol working for you?
Andy side effects? and did you get your test results as well?
everything's all right, I hope?

Re: any problems with propofol?
Had my colonoscopy today..........no problems discovered. Did talk to the doc before the procedure to ask about the propofol since it is a drug I have never tried and I tend to have issues with meds taken at full strength - they decided to do a slower drip and also to not include the narcotics they also put in the IV. I appreciated their willingness to back off on the meds - had no trouble with the propofol and don't have to do this again for another 10 years! L
