Migraine theme song

Post  alli on Fri 03 Jun 2011, 12:11 pm

I don't know about you but I think "Rainy Days and Mondays" should be the migraine theme song. It is so appropriate in so many ways. This is what I feel like on rainy days and the migraine is building.... nothing to do but frown and wait for it to pass. The only thing that helps is having my family around so I know that this will pass and people love me.

Here are the lyrics...

Rainy days and Mondays

Talking to myself and feeling old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothing seems to fit
Hangin around, nothing to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

What I've got they used to call the blues
Nothing is really wrong
Feeling like I don't belong
Walking around some kind of lonely clown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

Funny it seems I always wind up here with you
It nice to know somebody loves me
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
To run and find the one who loves me

What I feel is come and gone before
No need to talk it out
We know what it's all about
Hanging around, nothing to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

Alli, it is perfect in so many ways. I always end up at FabMU. The last two verses are so indicative of how I feel. I come here because I love you all and I dont have to explain a damn thing, you know and understand.

And Lord, do I feel old...

Yes, Alli, every word is perfect, other than Mondays...LOL. What about "rainy days and MIGRAINES always get me down". Especially since for so many of us rainy days bring them on. No

That works and since I know that most of us end up with a migraine on the rainy days, it is sooooo appropriate.
