How's fall migraine wise for you guys?.... Empty Frontal system coming in Texas

Post  KimbaK Fri 25 Nov 2011, 8:25 pm

We are due for some weird weather (but then again all Texas weather can be described as weird) and my head is tuning up. I had to get my Relpax from the pharmacy as my free meds have not come in yet. So $159.99 for 6 pills.

Wishing everyone a better evening!!

Kim

Risa, Sorry you are feeling so bad. I read an article recently that said windy weather is bad for migraine. I never really thought about wind alone. Usually anything related to weather change is bad for me, also extended periods of rainy weather. The worst being really extreme pressure change like a tornado. I hope your migraine lets up soon.
Hugs,
Cindy

Thank you, Cindy and Kim.
I believe it's exactly those pressure changes you've mentioned which accompany severe winds that trigger my M,
thankfully after that big one a few days ago - so far, so good, the wind seem to quieted down
and so did my head.

Risa, this time of year is definitely worse for me, major weather changes too. I'm surprised my head has been fine today as we have a Chinook (which often triggers a migraine for me and many others) and damaging winds in Alberta, I can't believe all the trees that are down all over Calgary. I've never known such a strong wind, hurricane force in some places. I have a slight twinge of pain but nothing I can't handle.

Have a good week Smile
