Please remember that this site is where a collection of those of us dealing with migraines meet. Some of us may be having good days and some of us may be having off days with high levels of pain. Sometimes high pain days make us more irritable and more sensitive to the feedback of others.

It's understandable that there will be times when we do not agree on topics, and days when we really need a good vent. Both of these things are acceptable here, but please choose your words with the understanding that others may not read them the same way you wrote them.

Please consider your words wisely when you type them, and understand that they can be interpreted in many ways, especially when they are directed at another or during a heated debate.

We all benefit from kindness, and a kind word can go very far for another looking for support. Please save major debates on touchier subjects for the misc section, unless they directly apply to migraines. That way someone having a bad day can simply avoid the misc section and be free from any major conflict.

If you read something that you believe is directed at you and it offends you, please clarify, as it may not have been intended to offend you at all.

Please try not to take a thread off-topic, instead start your own thread under your intended topic. Please also understand that topics do change over time and be understanding when this happens. From time to time, Admin may move a thread to a more appropriate forum to make it easier for people to find your thread.

Please try to respond back when others have taken the time to answer your thread. Also undestand that not everyone is able to log on and reply if they are having a bad day and forgive them if they do not respond in a timely manner.
