Hello, my name is Milo

My name is Milo and I'm a married woman in my mid-thirties, live in Canada and have been dealing with migraines since I finished University. Migraines run in my family...as do other lovely health problems like rheumatoid arthritis, fibroids, and CHF.

I also have chronic daily headaches. I can live with them as long as my migraines are under control. Thankfully, I get an ok response to botox injections which also helps quite a bit with the CDH.

I am lucky to still be able to function well enough to work. I have changed the way that I worked to be in a position that allows me some control over my environment, which helps a lot.

I also have had a great response to daily workouts...which were very hard but have helped a lot. I even ran my first half marathon this past July!

I'm dyslexic and you will notice this from time to time if I'm not using my iphone to access the forum. This gets much worse when I'm mid migraine.

I am a happy, funny person who is kind to a fault. I love my online support and am so glad to have found a new migraine home.
