Goofy weather?
I know Europe and the U.K. have been blasted, by cold...but how's everyone's weather in North America?
We've had a very warm winter with little snow, but a lot of pressure spikes up and down.
We had a small polar outbreak with lower temps into the single digits (F) and about 10" of snow yesterday. How's everyone else's weather?

Ours in VA is same. Only had 1/2 inch of snow on Saturday, though. Very cold this morning.

Re: Goofy weather?
In the eastern Montana plains/badlands, it's been very dry, warmer than usual (except for a couple below zero days this past week), and lots of pressure changes.
You'd think the warmer than usual weather would be easier on the pain, but the pressure changes seem to be a culprit.
We've had weird fronts coming down from Canada in the north, from Washington and Idaho in the west, and up from Wyoming and South Dakota. I think they all converge on us causing the pressure fluctuations.
We need moisture badly.

Actually, Risa, I think they're coming down from Alaska where they're having all that nasty weather. Canada is just the pass-through on the way to us. I'm sure we're sending plenty of weird weather fronts north towards Canada, too.

Re: Goofy weather?
we have almost a repeat of weather from two weeks ago, except this storm system only brought a dusting of snow, but high wind and baro changes. my head is not pleased. i think it's going to be a rough spring.

Re: Goofy weather?
It's cold and we're expecting a storm system this evening. Everything hurts (head) or aches (rest of body), and I'm grumpy.
Love your emoticon, Risa!

Are you serious? You must be having some horrendous winds! Hope it didn't damage anything else when it went.

Re: Goofy weather?
thankfully, the wind only blew the cover of the chimney away, hubby went up on the roof and already took care of it
but we won't be able to use the wood stove until the top is fixed.
also, he said the chimney needs to be cleaned now, too, gaack. we do it ourselves, we have the brush.
yeah, it's because quite a lot of wood this year we burned was moist, I suppose.
and yes Tecky the wind is really strong, we had an alert for windy weather issued,
and of course I woke up with bad migraine this morning
just as my daughter had all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday and I need to take care of her today, yeah,
all the attractions happening today

Re: Goofy weather?
When it rains, it pours, doesn't it, Risa?
Hope your head improves (and, of course, the winds die down).
Both my boys had all their wisdom teeth removed at the same time, and they both were sick afterward, so I remember it was a bit of a difficult time. Hope your daughter is feeling okay and it wasn't/isn't too difficult for her.
